Ahtesham Ali

Ahtesham Ali was born and raised in Kolkata, India and moved to the USA in 2004. Before becoming an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, he worked as an RN for 10 years in the ER and ICU patients. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science from Texas tech University, Lubbock Texas. He also completed bachelor’s in Business administration from Texas A & M University Corpus Christi, Texas.

He has experience in neurology inpatient hospital medicine and outpatient care. Ali is looking forward to caring for ages 13 years and above with neurological disorders and sleep medicine by partnering with parents, families, caregivers to provide excellent, comprehensive care of the patient in all aspects.

Some of his areas of expertise include: Neuromuscular disease (MS, MG, ALS, GBS), neuropathies, dementia, strokes, parkinson’s disease, tremors, etc. He also has extensive experience in headaches and chronic pain management.

He is a member of the American Nurses Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Some of the procedures he performs includes: Botox for migraine headache, Lumbar puncture, Trigger point, Occipital nerve block, carpal tunnel, knee, and shoulder injections, IV infusion.

He speaks English, Spanish, Urdu, Hindi, and Bengali

In his spare time, Ali plays soccer, tennis, cricket, swimming, and traveling
